Your session is tailored to your needs with options for headshots, portraits, and full-length shots. Add special requests in the space provided during booking.
Sessions can be done quickly when you're pressed for time—shot and delivered in under 15 minutes upon request.
During the session, you’ll get to preview your photos on the studio computer to ensure you love the results.
Step 2: Preparing
Get ready to present your best self during your Hero Shots session:
Wardrobe: Choose clothes that fit well, especially around the neck and shoulders, as these areas frame your face in headshots. Select outfits that boost your confidence and comfort, ensuring you look and feel your best. If you're an actor, bring a variety of outfits to emphasize your versatility and creative range.
Simple Over Bold: Stick to solid colours—black, white, and grey are always reliable choices. Garments with interesting textures can add depth and visual appeal in your photos.
Jewelry-Free Zone: Minimize distractions by skipping jewelry—it’s not essential for headshots and can take attention away from your face.
Natural Makeup: Keep makeup simple and natural. If you don’t usually wear makeup, there’s no need to start for your session. The goal is to look like the best version of your everyday self.
Be Yourself: Wear what feels natural—whether it’s your go-to outfit for meeting a client, acing an interview, or catching up with a friend over coffee. If ties or makeup aren’t part of your daily life, feel free to skip them!
Lighting and Backgrounds: Leave the atmosphere to me—I’ll adjust the lighting and background as needed to create the ideal setting for your shots.

Your Hero Shots photo session is designed to be efficient, comfortable, and tailored to your needs:
Comfortable Environment: Located at 312 Dolomite Dr. in North York, I create a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel at ease in front of the camera. I encourage you to share your favourite music for me to play—whether it's upbeat tunes or calming melodies, I’ll set the mood just right for you.
Live Previews: See your photos as I shoot them on the studio monitor. This allows you to make adjustments to your poses and wardrobe as we go, ensuring the results meet your expectations.
Unlimited Options: Take advantage of unlimited changes in wardrobe, lighting, and backgrounds to explore various looks and styles during your session.
Quick and Efficient: When time is tight, I can keep things swift—sessions can be shot and delivered in under 15 minutes upon request.
Step 4: Editing and Delivery
At Hero Shots, I prioritize quick turnaround without compromising quality:
High-Resolution JPEGs: Within 24 hours, you'll receive high-resolution, colour-corrected JPEGs—ready for immediate use.
Retouching Services: If you’d like additional refinement, I offer retouching services at $33.90 tax incl. per image. Retouched images are typically delivered within one week, ensuring plenty of time for careful adjustments and polish.
